Minka means Gift in Hebrew, fitting for Minka Leeser because of her desire to serve others.
Married for 43 years with a son and a daughter, Minka is also a grandmother to eight grandchildren. She loved to make Barbie Houses Extravaganzas and play Thomas the Train with them when they were young.
In addition, they took on Harry Potter characters and played out stories all over the house, magical props included!
Minka enjoys sharing her life stories when they may help someone else. That’s how Sally and the Pee Pee Princess: A Nighttime Bedwetting Story came to be. She learned from potty training her first child that she wanted a better experience with her second, so she started thinking outside the box.
Minka developed her interest in writing to help share the positive story of the nighttime part of potty training. Her goal with this book is to encourage parents to make staying dry at night a parent-and-child team effort and a doable challenge instead of a problem.
